DZ Landing Waypoint List

With the X2, you can set your own waypoint by just walking to it, going to the GPS menu, and pressing ‘set here’.

Or, you can use the app to create arbitrary waypoints.

But we also want to add a curated list of Dropzone waypoints to the X2 app to make it much easier for users to just select them and upload them to the X2.

So, could you post the GPS coordinates of your DZ’s landing point? For example, for our local DZ Skydive Southwest:

Sport landing area: 50.863009, -3.236378

Tandem landing area: 50.864329, -3.231234

By the way, it needs to be a point, not an area. Pick the most central point of the landing area to be safe.

Hi everyone,

You can now submit your DZ landing points via the X2 app!

Just tap ‘dropzones’ on the upper right of the Waypoints screen. You’ll be able to select from our predefined list or submit your waypoints to add to our list.

I’ll manually check each submission for the time being before adding it to the list.
